I studied advertising and design at Auburn, and I wound up in a career in mortgage banking.  I've drawn and painted since I was sixteen working with watercolor and pen and ink.  I let my passion for art evaporate as I concentrated my adult efforts on earning a living.  But when I retired in 2006, I needed a hobby, so I took up my art again.  I paint now in acrylic, and I paint with a group of artist friends  twice a week.
